“Catching rain”

In 2005, Dax Xenis accompanied Geoff Owen, co-founder of GARD, to Uganda to document the team, who were volunteering for another Canadian NGO at the time, and produced the film "Catching Rain." Subsequently, all Canadians involved in this project came together to establish GARD and now serve on its board of directors.
